two kernels

Today for lunch I had a pot of popcorn and a piece of corn on the cob. It would be better described as corn off the cob because I cut it all off before I ate it. The weird thing is that while eating the popcorn I dropped one kernel on the ground and following that I did the same thing with the corn. One kernel of each. Crazy.

I did some drawings yesterday. I will be following up with several more today.

Besides being productive, another thing that has made me happy, is riding my bike around. It is so fast. I have cut my commute time in half. I don't have to spend money on a metro card, or crowd into subways, or wait on stalled trains. I rode across the Manhattan bridge two days ago. It was my first time commuting into the City. It made all my errands there so much more exciting and quick. I was all over the place. I returned home via the Williamsburg bridge. That was pretty swell too.

Amidst my errands was a stop at the photo lab. I got the images from a couple of weeks ago processed. The feeling of dropping off film and waiting in anticipation is so great. Digital has nothing on that. I am hoping to make prints early next week from both the 4x5s and digital files. With those in hand in addition to the new drawings I will be getting all set for the unveiling...
